About Us
Who I am
HouseMasters, LLC is a one-owner business with a single employee, that's me, you can call me Jack. When you hire HouseMasters LLC, you will have a carpenter who has been in the trade for over 50 years. Those years have taught me well, from starting as a laborer for my cousin who taught me the "trowel trades" of masonry and drywall work when I first started out, along with his lead carpenter, a true "old school" carpenter who taught me the value of quality work. Became a foreman with another company, 7 years later. After a time with that company, I took a position as a supervisor for a high-end residential contractor for 22 years. During these years I worked closely with architects and interior designers to fine tune details of multimillion-dollar homes around the Washington DC area. The areas I really love to work on are interior trim, doors, cabinetry and stairs. I also have a small shop where I can do custom builds of any of the mentioned passions.
I also offer consultation services on all phases of residential construction.

Even if you have no real construction experience, you can still work alongside to see how things are done, learn some things, being that helping hand when needed. I have had 4 clients in the past years that were my help while working on their projects. We had a great time and I have returned to do more for them.
